Natural breast enlargement is an exciting phenomena that many women wanting larger breasts are turning to as alternatives to breast augmentation surgery. The first rule for greater success if you want to attain real and noticeable breast enlargement is to choose the right product. There are a slew of cheap, watered down herbal formulas out there right now that are a disappointing failure to most of their users. Make sure you know the formula you take has at least a resonable success rate.
There is no one natural breast enlargement formula that works on all women. Think of it as a medication. Not all medications have the same effects on all people, hence the wide variety of brands and formulas available. Every person's body is different, and their body will respond differently to herbs and natural breast enalargement formulas, and take different amounts of time to respond positively.

Second, a good rule of thumb is to avoid any type of caffeine or stimulant - ESPECIALLY any type of fat burners or diet pills, as these will always decrease breast size, since the first place we usually lose weight is in the breasts. Same goes for carbonated beverages. Avoiding carbonation can enhance the effects of a natural breast enlargement regimen by not interfering with it's digestion and absorption.

Third, and perhaps most important, moderate to light breast massage. Pair this with a good external breast enlarging and/or enhancing formula like a cream or serum, and this really helps to jump start and encourage further breast tissue expansion. Many of these external natural breast enlargement formulas contain caffeine. This is OK! You only need to be concerned with avoiding drinking or eating caffeine. It will not affect any results when massaged into the skin.
Next, try to maintain a healthy, balanced diet while taking a natural breast enlargement pill. This helps to balance the hormones naturally, and will help promote breast growth by intensifying the effects of the breast enlargement formula. Hormonal imbalance is one of the primary reasons breast pills may not work as effectively on some women, so don't take any chances, and eat balanced meals with plenty of protein if this is not how you are already eating.

The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) have announced that fat grafting for breast augmentation is not recommended at this time based on the lack of safety and efficacy data, and amid concerns that the procedure may interfere with accurate detection of cancer. Fat grafting or lipoinjection is a process in which fat cells from one area of the body are transferred to another area of the body, and is commonly used for enhancement of the face or hands.

Despite increasing consumer interest in this technique, there is little clinical evidence to suggest that fat grafting for breast augmentation is safer or better than saline or silicone implants, and long-term complications, including tissue scarring and calcification, can obscure or mimic breast cancer during breast cancer screening by self examination, mammography, ultrasound, or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

"Fat grafting has been around for more than twenty years, but many plastic surgeons have been skeptical of using it for breast augmentation because of safety issues such as distinguishing calcifications caused by fat grafting as opposed to those associated with breast cancer," said Foad Nahai, MD, President Elect of ASAPS. "We advise caution to women seeking fat grafting for this purpose and strongly support the ongoing research efforts that will establish the safety and efficacy of the procedure."

The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons urge consumers considering fat grafting over saline or silicone implants for breast augmentation to proceed cautiously, since the temporary benefits of fat grafting may be offset by low survival rates of the transferred cells (which are frequently absorbed by the body), development of cysts, calcification and tissue scarring, as well as long-term problems with breast cancer detection.

Tissue calcification, in particular, can make accurate detection of cancer difficult, since it is difficult to distinguish mammographically between calcifications associated with breast cancer and calcifications associated with fat transfer.

In a new wrinkle for Michigan's battered economy, plastic surgeons are experiencing the worst downturn ever for cosmetic procedures - while the treatments soar elsewhere in the country. The pinch began two years ago and by mid-June of last year, "everything suddenly came to a standstill," said Dr. Michael Busuito, a Troy plastic surgeon. "Husbands told their wives, 'I don't care if you want a face-lift. I could lose my job.' "With job cuts, home sales stalled and profit-sharing checks gone, demand in Michigan has dwindled for cosmetic procedures, particularly big-ticket surgeries such as breast augmentation and tummy tucks.Cosmetic plastic surgery is "like diamonds, jewelry and fancy cars," said Dr. Michael Gellis, chief of plastic surgery at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. "If you don't have the money, you don't spend the money on it."He said his business has declined 40%, similar to estimates offered by the most candid of more than a dozen plastic surgeons interviewed.

The decline has chilled Michigan's reception to the commercial comeback of silicone breast implants this year. And some consumers are lengthening the time between Botox injections, the way cash-strapped consumers postpone haircuts. Savvy plastic surgery veterans volunteer for new procedures for free."If he benefits, I benefit," said Doreen Kanakis, 50, of West Bloomfield. She underwent a face-lift five years ago by Troy plastic surgeon Kenneth Shaheen and was happy recently to undergo treatments with a new dermal filler to plump up parts of her face. Because Shaheen is just beginning one of the newer procedures, he has done three for free."A face-lift turns back the clock but it doesn't stop it," said Kanakis, who also had a breast augmentation and a permanent eyelid-liner procedure.

Breast enhancement is a rapidly growing area of cosmetic plastic surgery, and includes several breast surgery procedures. Cosmetic breast procedures include breast augmentation (breast enlargement), which is accomplished with breast implants. Breast lift is a procedure which is often performed simultaneously with an augmentation. In addition to these purely cosmetic procedures, breast reduction is an enhancement surgery that potentially offers both health and cosmetic benefits.

not all men like big breasts?

"Beauty" and standards of what is attractive and what isn't is defined by culture. American culture and society currently idolize big breasts on tall, slender figures (a combination almost never found in nature).
Did you know that in Brazil, breasts take a backseat to a woman's butt? In this South American culture, pert and round buttocks are far more attractive to men than breasts.
But during the 16th century, big breasts were considered low-class. The kinds of knockers men drool over today would only be found on a wet-nurse back then. The standard belle in the 1700s would be considered overweight today - but back then, carrying a few extra pounds was a sign of wealth (that you got enough to eat). And these neoclassical beauties had relatively small breasts - a modest B cup at most.
Have you ever seen ancient Greek or Roman sculptures at the museum? You may recall that even the goddess of love, Aphrodite/Venus, wasn't burdened with cleavage. These ancient beauties were instead well-proportioned with breasts that fit their frames.
And it's not just breast size standards that change over time. Remember Michaelangelo's famous sculpture David? The reason the statue doesn't have a larger penis is because, in Renaissance Italy, having a big penis was a cause for embarassment. In that time and place, being over-generously hung was about as attractive as wearing a red clown nose.

myths about breast augmentation surgery

To address health concerns about breast implants and breast augmentation surgery, a committee at the Institute of Medicine (IOM) reviewed the issues and concluded:
§ Breast implants don't increase breast cancer risk. The IOM found evidence that breast implants don't cause breast cancer or the recurrence of breast cancer. However, it's still essential that you undergo routine screening for breast cancer — breast self-exams, mammograms and clinical breast exams — just as you would if you didn't have breast implants.
§ Breast implants don't weaken your immune system. When your body detects something foreign in your system, such as a virus or bacterium, it responds by kicking your immune system into high gear. However, the IOM found no evidence to suggest this happens with breast implants. Nor did it find evidence linking implants to any autoimmune or connective tissue disorder.
§ Breast-feeding is safe. Your breast milk could absorb some of the silicone from breast implants but in an amount that's not considered harmful to your baby. Because breast milk is the best thing you can feed your baby, the IOM encourages women with breast implants to breast-feed if they're able to do so.
§ Satisfactory results can be achieved with saline-filled breast implants. Women with saline implants used to complain about sloshing — hearing the liquid inside the implant — and being able to feel the implant beneath the surface of the skin (rippling effect). Some women preferred implants filled with silicone gel for these reasons, claiming they looked and felt more natural. However, better results from saline implants are now possible by slightly overfilling the implant and placing it behind, rather than on top of, the chest muscle.
Know that health risks associated with breast implants do exist. Take these risks into consideration, consult with your doctor, and be confident that you're making a fully informed decision before you proceed with breast augmentation.

Toguh time and place...

Many theorize that the American male fascination with big breasts is driven by the advertising and media machine.
Their explanation goes like this: children are exposed to seductive, sensual sexy advertising featuring busty female models. Children are taught to associate these images with arousal.
Fast forward: children are now adults. Marketers use the same types of images to attract their attention - and it works. So TV commercials, billboards and magazine ads perpetuate this big-breasted, sexy iconography. And children see it, too. Thus the cycle perpetuates itself.
Whether or not one agrees with any of these explanations of why men like big breasts, it's important to realize that the male fascination is real. People perceived as beautiful, on average, are promoted faster at work, where they make more money. They get better service. And they marry more attractive partners.
It's a tough time and place for women without big breasts.

The procedure

Breast augmentation: The procedure

Breast augmentation surgery — also known as augmentation mammaplasty — can be performed in a surgical center or hospital outpatient facility. You usually go home the same day, but on occasion you might require a hospital stay. Breast augmentation is usually performed under general anesthesia.
To insert the breast implant, your surgeon makes an incision in one of three places:
In the breast fold. An inframammary incision runs along the crease between the underside of your breast and your chest.
Around the nipple. A periareolar incision follows the natural line of the dark skin around your nipple (areola). This incision may leave a less noticeable scar than does the inframammary incision, but it might also impact your ability to breast-feed or affect sensation in your nipple.
Under the arm. The axillary incision is made in your armpit.
Breast implants may be smooth or textured, round or shaped like a teardrop. They consist of a silicone shell filled with salt water (saline) or silicone gel. For a number of years, only saline-filled implants were available for cosmetic use. But in November 2006, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved silicone gel-filled implants for breast augmentation. This means that you now have a choice between saline-filled or silicone gel-filled breast implants. Your doctor can help you decide which type would be better for you.
After making the incision, the surgeon lifts your skin and tissue to create a pocket either behind the breast glandular tissue or behind the muscle in your chest (pectoral muscle). The surgeon inserts the implant and centers it behind your nipple. Saline implants, when inserted, are empty. The surgeon fills the implant with sterile saline once it's in place. Silicone implants are already filled at the time they're placed.
Breast augmentation surgery generally lasts one to two hours

haha!

Ok, this butt theory sounds kinda weird but, hey, you never know!

Evolutionary biologists have discovered that a lot of the physical traits we consider attractive have a sound basis in genetics. Choosing the right mate obviously is a very important decision - so our genes have, over time, learned to help us out. We tend to find indications of health to be attractive. Signs of disease, malnutrition, or general unfitness are perceived as unattractive.
How does this explain the male fascination with big breasts? Well, it sounds like a reach, but here it is: humans are the only primates that have sex face-to-face. All other primates choose the front-to-back position. Human females are along among the primates in having large breasts even when not nursing. Evolutionary biologists theorize that large breasts look like a butt! Crazy as it sounds, all the evidence fits: all primates are turned on by butts - except people. Only humans have large breasts and mate face-to-face. Therefore, maybe big breasts evolved in imitation of buttocks.
Here's another explanation that's easier to believe: larger breasts indicate adequate stores of subcutaneous fat, which is a sign of health. Flat breasts may indicate a post-menopausal woman who is no longer able to have children and therefore not an ideal mate from the evolutionary perspective.
